Tim
A. Garris, Partner, Design Manager - Tim founded
Garris-Brantley in 1989 with a keen desire to provide high
quality design/construction services to his community. Tim
graduated in 1976 from Fayetteville Technical Institute where he
majored in Architectural Design/Drafting. From 1976 to 1989, Tim
learned the intricacies of the design profession while employed
with Black & Veatch, Inc., Engineers, Architects (formerly
Moore, Gardner & Associates). In his years at
Garris-Brantley, Tim has designed many of our most notable
projects including Thomas Residence, Burkart Residence, Teague Residence, Bartok Residence, Jugtown Cafe, and many others too numerous to
mention.
Tim is a past president and of the Home Builders Association of Asheboro/Randolph County as well as Builder Member of the Year in 1997. Tim also volunteers for Habitat of Humanity of Randolph, Inc. serving on the Board of Directors and as Building Committee Chairman. In his spare time, Tim enjoys photography, computers, boating, flying, art, and traveling. Tim also has a private pilots license with an instrument rating. Tim lives with his wife Bert, and has three children, Dale, Chad, and Kathryn and two grandchildren, Trinity and Grayson.

Bob Riddle, Senior Designer
- Our most experience design professional, Bobs design
career spans forty years. After two years of service in the
United States Armed Forces Bob attended and graduated from North
Carolina State University in 1963 with a Bachelor of Architecture
degree. Bob gained most of his experience working with notable
firms such as J. Hyatt Hammond Associates, Architects, and J.H.
Allen, Inc. General Contractor. Bob joined the Garris-Branltey
team in 1998 bringing with him a wealth of talent and experience.
Key projects are Deece Residence, Jennings Residence, and Frye
Residence.
In his spare time Bob enjoys photography, golfing, swimming, reading, and travel.

Kim
Farmer, Designer - Kim joined Garris-Brantley in 2002.
Kim graduated in 1993 from Pitt Community College with an
Associates Degree in Architectural Technology. Prior to coming to
Garris-Brantley Kim gained valuable hands on design experience
working with local Architects Mullinex and Cofer. Kim's design
skills have proven to be a tremendous asset to our design team.
Kim has worked on several of Garris-Brantley's newest projects
including Rankin Residence, Turner Residence, Tot Hill Swimming
Pool Facility, and Teague Residence. Kim is presently serving on
the Board of Directors for the Asheboro/Randolph Home Builders
Association.
In her spare time Kim enjoys spending time with her husband Dave and their five children.

Kim
Luther, Interior Designer - Kim Luther, our newest
design team member, is a native of Asheboro, recentley returning
after living in Atlanta, Georgia for 25 years. Kim graduated from
East Carolina University in 1983 with a Bachelors of Arts in
Weaving and Textiles. While working as a flight attendant Kim
returned to school and completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree
in Interior Design at Brenau University in 1993. While traveling
the world domestically and internationally, Kim freelanced
designed a wide variety of projects. After leaving the airlines,
Kim worked as kitchen designer and meeting planner. Kim has sold
several of her own paintings. Her concept statement is to pull
her world travel experiences togther to benifit a wide variety of
her clients taste. As a design enthusiast, Kim loves all areas of
design, fashion, the arts, and architecture.
Kim's true loves are her family, including 5 nieces and nephews, and her constant canine companion, Jack.
